4 overs a side
All out at 4 wickets
Last-ball six = 8
3-ball super over
- A team can use any number of players — the batters and the bowlers can be completely different (no fixed roles, no all-rounder requirement).
- Batting is capped at the fall of 4 wickets — the last batter can't bat alone, so 5 batters get an innings — or 4 overs, whichever comes first.
- Bowling is capped at 4 overs an innings (8 a match). One bowler may bowl 2 overs; everyone else at most 1, so at least 3 different bowlers are used — and they needn't be among the batters.
- Highest total after both innings wins.
- A six off the last ball of any over counts as 8 runs, not 6 — scorers must record 8 (not 6) for a six on the final delivery of an over.
- General scoring rules apply as normal, per the WCL rulebook and ground categories.
- No powerplay and no fielding restrictions — fielders can be placed anywhere.
- A designated wicket-keeper is mandatory at all times.
- Level scores go to a 3-ball super over.
- Substitute fielders are allowed — even from other teams — but a substitute may not bat or bowl.
- The top 8 after round 1 qualify to the quarter-finals and the bottom 2 are eliminated (see the Table tab).
- All matches at Harrison Park (Fields 2–6). Round 1 from 8:00 AM, Round 2 8:45 AM, Round 3 9:30 AM, Round 4 10:15 AM.
